The CVCE takes part in a conference at the University of Luxembourg

On 4 and 5 December 2012, a seminar entitled ‘European responses to economic and social changes. From the 1970s to the New Millennium' was held at the University of Luxembourg, the latest in a seminar cycle organised in connection with the Master's in Contemporary European History. This seminar was part of the Eurochange project (in which the CVCE is involved) and was organised by Professors René Leboutte, holder of the Jean Monnet Chair in Contemporary European History at the University of Luxembourg, and Paolo Tedeschi, Professor at the University of Milano-Bicocca and Visiting Researcher at the CVCE, in cooperation with the CVCE.

Dr Elena Danescu, Researcher at the CVCE and coordinator of the ‘Pierre Werner and Europe' research project, presented an analysis of the ‘Report by the Werner Group and the monetary crisis in the 1970s'.
