Erklärung von Robert Schuman (Paris, 9. Mai 1950)
TonAm 9. Mai 1950 schlägt der französische Außenminister Robert Schuman der Bundesrepublik Deutschland (BRD) und weiteren europäischen Staaten vor, ihre Kohle- und Stahlressourcen unter der Kontrolle einer europäischen supranationalen Institution zusammenzulegen. Die Rede wurde nicht am 9. Mai 1950 aufgezeichnet, daher musste der Minister sie später noch einmal für die Nachwelt nachstellen.
