Report by the Committee on Constitutional Affairs on the draft Decision amending Article 136 of the TFEU with regard to the EMS (7 March 2011)
Texte In its report of 7 March 2011, the European Parliament’s Committee on Constitutional Affairs supports the establishment of a permanent bailout fund for the euro zone. However, the MEPs express concern at the fact that the mechanism is based entirely on intergovernmental procedures and does not involve participation by the European Union (EU), and calls on the Member States to integrate the system into the EU.
