At its sitting of 16 October 1962, the European Parliament discusses the question of the Netherlands Antilles.

In its resolution of 19 October 1962, the European Parliament gives its opinion on the drafts submitted by the Council of the European Economic Community with a view to making the special system of association defined in part four of the Treaty applicable to the Netherlands Antilles.
