'The sacrifice' from Le Figaro (8 May 1954)
Texte On 8 May 1954, the day after the fall of the heavily fortified Dien Bien Phu base, the French daily newspaper Le Figaro leads with the sacrifice of the French soldiers and deplores the attitude of French Communist leaders in the Indo-China war.
