Bill for an amendment to the Irish Constitution (2008)
Texte On 26 February 2008, the Irish Government approves the 28th amendment to the Constitution. This amendment, published on 6 March 2008, is essential to enable Ireland to ratify the Treaty of Lisbon, in reference to the 1987 decision by the Supreme Court in the Crotty v. An Taoiseach case.
