Results of the Irish referendum on the Amsterdam Treaty (22 May 1998)
Text On 22 May 1998, the Irish people vote in favour of the amendment to Article 29(4) of the Constitution authorising the ratification of the Treaty of Amsterdam by 932 632 votes to 578 070.
