Four-Power Communiqué on Arrangements for Lifting the Berlin Blockade (New York, 4 May 1949)
Text On 4 May 1949, after lengthy negotiations, the representatives of the Governments of the United States, France, the United Kingdom and the Soviet Union adopt a joint communiqué announcing that the Berlin Blockade is to be lifted on 12 May 1949.
