Text On 31 March 1957, Antonio Segni, President of the Italian Council and, acting in that capacity, signatory, one week earlier in Rome, of the Treaties establishing the European Economic Community (EEC) and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom), delivers an address at the Adriano Theatre in Rome in which he focuses on the successive stages of European integration.
