'Why a European currency?', from Communauté européenne (October 1968)
Text In the October 1968 issue of the monthly publication Communauté européenne, the French journalist, Jean Lecerf, compares the Werner Plan with the plan proposed by the Action Committee for the United States of Europe (ACUSE), both of which call on the Six to adopt a single currency.
