'The end of cheap oil' from Le Monde (25 October 1993)
Text On 25 October 1993, 20 years after the decision by the members of the Organisation of the petrolium exporting countries (OPEC) to drastically reduce their oil exports, the French daily newspaper Le Monde restates the economic and political reasons for this decision, which was at the origin of the first world oil crash.
