‘The day of international trade is dawning’ from the Süddeutsche Zeitung (17 May 1967)
Text On 17 May 1967, the German daily newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung welcomes the agreement reached the previous day in Geneva between 50 countries, including the United States and the six Member States of the European Economic Community, with a view to further liberalising international trade.
