On 12 June 1985, in Madrid, Spain signed the Treaty of Accession to the European Economic Community (EEC) and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC). The Spanish signatories are the Foreign Minister, Fernando Morán (on the left), and the Prime Minister, Felipe González (on the right).
