Text Le 19 août 1955, Francis Cumming-Bruce, diplomate britannique au sein du Commonwealth Relations Office rédige une note interne très critique sur l'avenir politique et économique de la Côte-de-l'Or après son accession à l'indépendance. La note évoque les différents facteurs qui menacent la stabilité du pays à court terme et pointe notamment les faiblesses de l'administration locale et des structures politiques en place. L'analyse porte également sur la nature des relations futures entre le Royaume-Uni et la Côte-de-l'Or.
