Message from Kofi Annan on Cyprus (21 April 2004)
Text On 21 April 2004, in the run-up to the referendum due to be held in Cyprus on the unification of the island, Kofi Annan, United Nations Secretary-General, reassures the Cypriot people that the world is ready to help them to achieve unification in security.
