'Joining forces in the struggle for peace and security' from Pravda (1 September 1954)
Text On 1 September 1954, the Soviet daily newspaper Pravda welcomes the failure of the European Defence Community (EDC) and emphasises the efforts being made by the USSR to guarantee peace and security in Europe.
