At the forum The origins of and developments in European governance: the impact of the Treaty of Rome establishing the European Economic Community (March 1957) organised on 23 and 24 April 2007 by the Pierre Werner Institute in Luxembourg, Ulrich Everling, honorary professor at the University of Bonn, former German diplomat and former judge at the Court of Justice of the European Communities, looks at the development of the right of establishment and of the free circulation of services.
