Amendment proposed by the British delegation to the WEU Council to Assembly Recommendation 264 on the proliferation of nuclear weapons (11 November 1975)
Text On 11 November 1975, the British delegation to the Council of Western European Union (WEU) proposes an alternative to the draft reply (WPM (75) 35/A) to Recommendation 264 by the WEU Assembly on the proliferation of nuclear weapons. The British want to emphasise that France is the only one of the WEU Member States not to have signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
