Tony Benn, Against the Tide
Texte On 18 March 1975, the British Government approves, by 16 votes to 7, the outcomes of the renegotiation of the conditions for the United Kingdom's accession to the EEC, by virtue of which, the country decides to remain a member of the common market. In his memoirs, Tony Benn, the then Secretary of State for Industry, recalls the debates within the Government.
