‘Schuman Plan demotes Italy to colonial status’ from L’Unità (18 April 1951)
Texte On 18 April 1951, on the occasion of the signing of the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC) in Paris, the Italian Communist daily newspaper L’Unità criticises the system for weighting the votes cast in the Council, regarding it as harmful for Italy.
