Ratification of the Treaty establishing the ECSC in Italy
Tableau On 16 June 1952, the Italian Chamber of Deputies ratifies the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC) despite hostile opposition from the Communists and from some Socialists.
