Press release on Peter Gauweiler’s complaint to the German Constitutional Court against the ESM (29 June 2012)
Texte On 29 June 2012, Peter Gauweiler votes in the German Parliamentary Assembly against the European Fiscal Compact and the European Stability Mechanism (ESM). He then lodges an appeal with the Federal Constitutional Court against the ESM, claiming a potential breach of the Constitution and the loss of the German Parliament’s sovereign rights.
