Texte On 19 January 1963, Karl Heinrich Knappstein, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Washington, gives a summary of his meeting with Dean Rusk, US Foreign Minister, on the situation in Western Europe in the light of Britain’s accession to the European Communities and with a view to improving relations between France and Germany.
