Texte Le 27 octobre 1962, Garcia Inchaustegui, ambassadeur cubain au siège de l'Organisation des Nations unies (ONU), informe Sithu U Thant, secrétaire général des Nations unies, que le gouvernement de Cuba est prêt à envisager une solution à la crise des missiles malgré sa condamnation des actes d'ingérence et de représailles des États-Unis tels que le blocus maritime imposé par John F. Kennedy.
