Texte In accordance with the mandate conferred upon it on 17 October 1978 at the opening ministerial session of the negotiations between the European Communities and Portugal, the Conference, meeting at deputy level, must agree on the procedure and organisation of its work. On 29 November 1978, at the beginning of the first session of the Conference of Deputies, the draft position of the Community concerning the procedure for and organisation of the accession negotiations for Portugal is submitted.
