‘Dien Bien Phu has fallen’ from L’Humanité (8 May 1954)
Texte On 8 May 1954, after the fall of Dien Bien Phu, the French communist daily newspaper L’Humanité criticises the policy pursued by France in Indo-China and calls for an immediate ceasefire.
