Texte On 16 April 1956, at the 18th session of the Committee of Ministers, Leopold Figl, Austrian Foreign Minister, welcomes Austria’s accession to the Council of Europe and emphasises his country’s wish to participate in the reconstruction of a Europe now at peace.
