‘Willy Brandt: Germany’s Westpolitik’ from Foreign Affairs (April 1972)
Text In April 1972, in the American journal Foreign Affairs, the German Chancellor, Willy Brandt, outlines the foreign policy of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG). Brandt emphasises the important role played by European integration, as well as relations between the European Communities and the United States.
