‘The new pre-conditions’ from Le Soir (28 February 1957)
Text On 28 February 1957, in the Belgian daily newspaper Le Soir, the colonial economist Louis Ameye publishes an editorial in which he outlines the possible impact of the future European Economic Community (EEC) on the Belgian economy and Belgian trade, particularly trade with the Overseas Countries and Territories.
