Telegram from Jean Chauvel to Christian Pineau (London, 11 July 1957)
Text On 11 July 1957, the day after the meeting of the British section of the European Movement in London, Jean Chauvel, French Ambassador to London, sends a telegram to Christian Pineau, French Foreign Minister, in which he outlines the views expressed by some British politicians on the issues related to the Common Market and the free trade area.
