Text On 2 May 1962, the European Economic Community (EEC) and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom) notify the press of the appointment of José Tomás Cabral Calvet de Magalhães as the Head of Portugal’s Mission to the EEC and the EAEC.
