Text On 17 March 1955, the Secretary-General of the Interim Commission of Western European Union circulates a paper from the French delegation on the standardisation of armaments within FINBEL. The paper has been drawn up in agreement with the other member countries of FINBEL with the aim of outlining the origin and aims of the organisation and explaining its working methods and development.
