Note from the United States to the Soviet Union on the status of Berlin (31 December 1958)
Text On 31 December 1958, in reply to the Soviet note dated 27 November 1958, the United States Administration reaffirms its support for West Berlin and refutes the arguments put forward by the Soviet Union in support of a change in the status of the City of Berlin.
