Text Le 4 février 1955, une note adressée par le ministère britannique des Affaires étrangères aux Hauts-commissaires du Royaume-Uni au sein du Commonwealth fait part des inquiétudes de Londres concernant la future conférence qui doit réunir 23 pays d’Asie et 6 pays d’Afrique. Le Foreign office évoque ainsi le risque de voir la conférence afro-asiatique être influencée par l’hostilité communiste à l’encontre de l’Ouest et le neutralisme.
