Text On 20 June 1958, the French daily newspaper Le Monde reports on the Maghreb Conference held from 18 to 20 June 1958 in Tunis, at which the Tunisian, Moroccan and Algerian delegations attempted to secure a common position with regard to France and the Algerian question.
