Image The Association Council between the European Union and Hungary holds its eighth session on Tuesday 17 July 2001 under the chairmanship of Janos Martonyi, Hungarian Foreign Minister. Annemie Neyts-Uyttebroeck, Belgian State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, heads the European Union Delegation. The Association Council considers the state of preparedness of Hungary for its forthcoming accession to the European Union.
