Text On 6 August 1957, Pierre Saffroy, French Ambassador to Luxembourg, sends a letter to Christian Pineau, French Foreign Minister, in which he outlines the draft legislation submitted by the Luxembourg Government with a view to ratification of the Treaties establishing the European Economic Community (EEC) and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom) by the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies.
