Text On February 1989, Carl Kaysen, Deputy National Security Adviser to US President John F. Kennedy in the early 1960s, gives an interview in which he refers to the US Government’s position in relation to the EEC and to US Government decisions, notably on military and agricultural matters, that had a direct impact on the Community.
