Text On 12 July 1963, following exploratory talks between representatives of the Austrian Government and representatives of the Commission of the European Economic Community (EEC), Jacques Bouiller, official in the Secretariat-General in the High Authority of the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC), outlines the attitude of both parties towards the possible association of Austria with the European Common Market.
