HMS Resolution, British nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine
Image HMS Resolution is the first British nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine. On 15 February 1968, the submarine carries out its first test firing of a Polaris missile, and four months later, in June 1968, it begins conducting patrol missions for nuclear deterrence.
