European Union Monitoring Mission in Aceh (15 September 2005)
Image On 15 September 2005, at the request of the Indonesian Government and of the Free Aceh Movement (GAM), the European Union launches a ‘Monitoring Mission in Aceh' (MMA), Indonesia, responsible for ensuring the implementation of the memorandum of understanding between the two parties signed on 15 August 2005 in Helsinki.
