Communication by Lamberto Dini on monetary policy in the EMU (19 January 1990)
Text On 19 January 1990, Lamberto Dini, Director of the Bank of Italy and member of the Monetary Committee of the European Communities, raises the issue of monetary policy within the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU), with particular emphasis on the role of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB).
