Bertie Ahern, Europe – Our Common Future (Berlin, 2 June 2005)
Text On 2 June 2005, following the rejection by referendum in France and the Netherlands of the Treaty establishing a Constitution for Europe, Bertie Ahern, Irish Prime Minister, delivers to the Humboldt University in Berlin an address in which he emphasises the need to convince European citizens of the importance of this Treaty for the future of the European Union.
