American Directive on the Military Government of Austria (27 June 1945)
Text On 27 June 1945, the US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff sends a Directive to General Mark Clark, Commander-in-Chief of the US occupation forces in Austria, defining the tasks and the prerogatives of the Allied Council in Austria.
