Text On 25 January 1958, in an address to the members of the future European Parliamentary Assembly meeting in Brussels for the opening of the constituant session of the Councils of the European Economic Community and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom), Enrico Medi, Vice-President of the Euratom Commission, emphasises the implications of nuclear research, with particular regard to energy production.
