Bild While the Six are negotiating the establishment of a European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom) in order to guarantee the security of Western Europe’s energy supplies, the uranium reserves, particularly those situated in the Shinkolobwe mine in the Belgian Congo, have already been mined since the 1930s.
