‘From The Hague to Puteaux’ from L’Aveyron libre (29 May 1948)
Text On 29 May 1948, Marceau Pivert, Secretary of the Federation of the Seine within the French Section of the Workers’ International (SFIO) and leader of the Movement for the Socialist United States of Europe (MEUSE), sets out the objectives of the Congress of the Peoples of Europe, Asia and Africa held by the MEUSE in Puteaux from 18 to 22 June.
