Cartoon by Behrendt on the Camp David Accords (28 September 1978)
Bild On 28 September 1978, after the conclusion of the Middle-East peace agreements at Camp David (Maryland), the cartoonist Fritz Behrendt depicts the decisive action of US President, Jimmy Carter, as having tipped the balance in favour of Egyptian President, Anwar el-Sadat, and Israeli Prime Minister, Menachem Begin, despite the hostility of various Arab leaders.
