‘Austria’s “Yes”, hope for Scandinavia’ from Die Presse (13 June 1994)
Text On 13 June 1994, the day after the referendum in Austria on the country’s accession to the European Union, the Vienna daily newspaper Die Presse considers that the positive vote by the Austrians may strengthen the position of the supporters of the ‘Yes’ vote in Finland, Norway and Sweden.
