Texte In a letter dated 19 December 1962, Emilio Colombo, President-in-Office of the Council of the European Communities, notifies the Minister of State of the Portuguese Government, José Gonçalo Corrêa de Oliveira, of the decision taken by the Council to consider his Government’s request for the opening of negotiations with the European Economic Community (EEC).
